Amani tells of her coming festival

What is the aim of organizing this festival?

Oriental dancing has become a widespread art, found all over the
world, and among all levels of societies in the five continents.

Many dancers are nowadays practicing and spreading this art, to the extent
that the East and West, the dancing and the folklore, have all merged
together.

Given that, and as a leading dancer interested and with stakes in preserving
the identity of Oriental Dancing, its nature and characteristics, I believe it my duty to take on serious and practical measures in order to accomplish this objective, starting with workshops that would bring together as many oriental dancers as possible into one organized work
where we could harmonize and distill the essence and substance of this art.

That is why I worked on having special workshop and festival aimed at developing the styles

and techniques of this art through a General Oriental Education that would focus on dancing in particular.

Technique is very important but it is not sufficient.

Why education? One might ask Amani

Because the roots of the oriental dance art took birth and flourished in a romantic spiritual era. When we explore our inner feeling from an oriental perspective, we will be able to understand more and more the meanings and moods of the Oriental dance and music.
That's why my dance depend on a good understanding of that culture as a path
to reach the authentic world of oriental Dance

There will be guided tourist excursion in some of the most important ancient sites where the folklore and Oriental dance have flourished, aimed at enriching the inspiration of a real artist.

Also am looking on inciting good dancers to incorporate into their dance presentations a solid theatrical dimension while preserving the oriental soul, styles and aspect.

In the process of doing so, I will help the participant to get the optional exposure to the Arabic audience through the festival’s competition that undoubtedly would receive TV and other media coverage.

Master teachers chosen are the best whom I trust their, expertise, versatility and potential.

Of course I am going to give different workshop sessions

For the reasons mentioned above I worked with my best collaborators in the administration of the work session, hoping to realize this goal.

We are concerned of providing the participants with a comfortable and beneficial journey at a very affordable price.

At the end ,

The main objective (theme) of this workshop is to help the participants, from beginning level dancers to professional dancers, the world over, to dwell into the deep soul of Oriental Dance and find out what they have been missing as different Oriental and Folkloric styles.
